Initially held at city-owned parks, the festival’s move to the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in recent years has allowed for an expanded offering beyond entertainment, including gastronomy, live performances and cultural activities. Last year’s event drew over 40,000 attendees – 40% of which were from outside of Joburg, underscoring its significant impact on the destination’s tourism and local economy.
