SATSA Gauteng Chapter Meeting: Spotlight on New Partners, Incubatees and an Insightful Keynote

SATSA News

SATSA recently held its Gauteng Chapter meeting at the excellent WeWork offices in Sandton. The thoughtfully designed workspace with premium amenities and abundant natural light provided the perfect setting for the event.

The highlight of the meeting was the SATSA and Industry Update presented by CEO David Frost, followed by a "State of the Market" keynote address from SAT CMO Thembi Sehloho.

We also introduced a new partner, Dot Connectors, a management consultancy specialising in transformation compliance for Black Economic Empowerment (BEE), skills development (SD), and employment equity (EE).

In addition, seven incubatees from the SATSA Tourism Business Incubator were in attendance. This incubator programme, managed by Sigma International and now in its second year, supports 39 small businesses from across the country, including 24 from Gauteng. The incubatees represent a diverse range of industries, including a coffee roastery, a wheels and tours operator, a wine distributor, a signage maker, a laundry services provider, a sewing products and services provider, and a beverage distributor.

The meeting was a great success, showcasing the association's continued support for its members and the broader tourism industry. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

You can find the WeWork office at 155 West Street, Sandton, or here.
